Description: While the used hoses are being dried, another set of clean hoses is placed on a fire truck. A fire engine is always prepared for calls. After each blaze, the fire fighters also sharpen and polish their axes, wash and wax the ladders and polish the rigs. Now, ready for the next fire. Photo dated: August 8, 1964.
