This Mission/Spanish Revival style building, which cost approximately $60,000 to build in 1912, was designed by architect John Parkinson. It was an active fire station from 1913-1969 and became a restaurant in 1989. Interior view the Engine Co. 28 restaurant, whose menu is inspired by traditional firehouse cooking, located at 644 S.
