This 1968 Sacramento recreation and parks system report was created by the Citizen's Advisory Commttee, appointed by the City Council in 1965. It lists suggestions on where new parks should be built and where recreation facilities and programs should be modified or expanded as of 1968. In scope, this report presents a brief history of Sacramento's parks and recreation activities in 1968, describes the framework within which the plan proposals emanated, and details the specific recommendations of the Plan itself.
