Counter demonstrators supporting United States military intervention in Central America rally on Fairfax Ave. not far from a day-long festival commemorating Nicaragua's new constitution and the 8th anniversary of its revolution. No major problems were reported as the two factions rarely interacted. Photograph dated July 20, 1987.
