Description
A Los Angeles Times article dated June 1, 1952 reads, "The Saints and Sinners of Los Angeles have chosen Actor Joe E. Brown for their second annual Mr. Movie award. The presentation will be made next Wednesday at a banquet at the Florentine Gardens, 5955 Hollywood Blvd., it was announced today by Jerome Weber, Master and cofounder of the organization. Weber said 750 members and guests are expected to attend the banquet and that it is being held as a benefit for the club's milk fund for underprivileged school children."
