Photograph caption dated May 19, 1961 reads, "This Saturday is Alumni Day at the University of Southern California. But it is also Children's Day. For the first time special events have been planned for the high school aged youngsters of alumni. Two Valley parents planning to attend with their youngsters are, front right looking into mirror, Mrs. Jack Twomey, 6900 Chisholm Ave., Van Nuys, and Douglas Bothwell, 6655 Peach Ave., Van Nuys. The children are Linda Twomey, left front, and Steve Bothwell, whose reflection is seen in the mirror, straightening his father's tie."
