Photograph article dated September 4, 1963 partially reads, "Take a handful of Girl Scouts, turn them loose in the kitchen, mix well with flour and sugar. Yield: cookies and community service. Valley veterans, senior citizens and hospital patients can attest to the flavorful results. Such a treat comes from the kitchens of Girl Scout Troops 815 and 1852, Rafael Rancho District, Sun Valley."
