Description
The Convair XC-99 was the largest piston-engined land-based transport aircraft ever built. It flew for the first time in 1947 and the thousands of San Diegans came out to witness this event.
Note on original container: "Radio interview. 2 cuts both same. Eyewitness of Convair XC-99 taking off and landing. Also interview with flt. Test engineeer. 2 recordings (same) made from 78 record"
