Photograph caption dated May 7, 1965 reads, "Rehearsing for Encino's Mardi Gras ball are, from left, Mrs. Judy King, Tarzana, an ex-Mack Sennet Girl; Patti Karp, Encino, events chairman; Bobby D'Arcy, Studio City, costumer; and, Vivian Duncan, Sherman Oaks. The second annual ball is being sponsored by the Women's Division of the Encino Chamber of Commerce. Festivities will begin at 8 p.m. May 15 at the Glen-Aire Country Club, 3910 Stansbury Ave., Sherman Oaks. Many other top performers are scheduled to appear. Reservations are available by telephoning the chamber office, STate 9-4711."
