Description
Harold Brown addressing guests at the dedication of the 60-inch telescope, Palomar Observatory. Brown is standing behind a podium, inside the Oscar G. Mayer memorial building which houses the telescope. A small portion of the telescope is seen in the upper left-hand croner of the photograph. Two empty chairs are on either side of the podium. The observatory's balcony is behind Brown.
