Description
Oral argument by attorneys before the California Supreme Court on March 6, 1996 in a case concerning custody of children where the custodial parent elected to move to a city 40 miles distant for employment-related reasons and the noncustodial parent sought permanent custody of the children. Courts in federal and other state jurisdictions have followed the court's rulings in this case 4 times during the period 1996-2013.
