Description
A letter from Eileen Chang to C.T. Hsia, ca. 1977. In this letter dated November 11, Eileen Chang says that she did not know "Chi Di Zhi Lian" could not be published because of the content sensitivity. Now that Jiang Jingguo has become president, the press regulation should be less strict. She asks Hsia to search for his old article on "Chi Di Zhi Lian" and also asks him to thank "Gao Xingjiang." Perry Link sends her mail and told her that he has a student in UCLA doing research on Chang's works.
