Description
Pepperdine College acquired these two buildings and four lots in 1961. Located down the road from the main campus on the corner of 81st Street and Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, the tower building became the new Administration Building in 1962. It was affectionately called the "Tower of Power" by students. The complex also housed classrooms, a coffee shop, and the Hall of Friendship used for banquets and meetings.
