Description
Photo--black and white: A grafted rose bush at residence of John Bulla, Santa Rosa, CA. , circa 1930's. Handwritten on back: "Grafted rose bush at residence of John Bulla, Santa Rosa, Cal. 52 varieties are represented, with about 20 in bloom at this time. Located at the sidewalk this attracts much attention, and Mr. Bulla was compelled to erect a fence to preserve his prized rose bush from covetous fingers. Mr. B is a professional grafter (of Horicultural, not political type) and is considered an expert in Walnut grafting."
