Photograph of the first permanent San Bruno Public library, which was built in 1939 on Jenevein Ave. between San Mateo Ave. and El Camino Real. This first library remained in operation until 1955, when plans for a larger library became part of the proposed plan for a new city hall complex on Angus Ave.
