Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated May 10, 1955 reads "Officer G. S. Arnest writes out citation to Troy Noland of Los Angeles at checking point on Lankershim boulevard. Vehicle was stopped for overhanging load not properly designated and no stop or rear lights. Truck was seventh of 70 stopped in less than two hours for violation today."
