Description
Photograph oil wells, broken trees on a beach, ca.1930. Piles of what appears to be palm tree debris sit along the smooth beach at center with a small avenue of water washing in from the left. Rocks lie in the sand to the left of a pile of debris in the foreground on the left with short grass growing in front of them. A short, rocky hill lies across the far edge of the sand with a tall derrick standing in the field at the top to the left of a short, dark building at center. A short forest stands behind the building and extends to the jagged mountains in the background.
