Serving at the event are, from left, Mmes. Herbert Lightfoot, George Elkouri, Lyons and Ken Davidson, event chairman. Prospective members are Mmes. Thomas Malouf, David Fleming, Mark Tumbleson, Ben Kamsler, Don Galloway, Ed Reimers, Darryl Bolstad, Philip Busse and Misses Barbara McKinnon, Dale Thatcher and Hazel McIntosh. Mrs. John Hopkins, president, and her co-founder, Mrs. Richard Schmidt, gave an account of the aims and ambitions in forwarding the work and maintaining the orphanages they established in the Orient. The current fund-raising project is a bazaar-rummage sale to be held June 3, 4 and 5 at 6821 Kester Ave., Van Nuys."
