Photograph of an aerial view of the flooded Los Angeles River at the Barham Boulevard bridge, 1938. Extending from the lower foreground to the right distance, the river is visible, spilling out over its banks. To the right of the river, the backlot of Universal Studios can be seen below the tip of an airplane wing. At the left side of the river at center, the Warner Brothers Studio complex is visible. The rest of the city is visible in the distance, extending to the mountains on the horizon. Photoprint reads: "This photograph is loaned to you. Please return to: Illustrator. L.A.
