An attendant wears a tie and a coin changer as he stands on the carousel's platform next to a child who is a blur as he rides his prancing pony. An elderly man and a young woman sit on benches as they watch the carousel turn.; Started in 1902, The Pike ran until 1979. In 1911, Charles I. D. Looff installed the carousel and he and his family began to live above it.
