Description
In an attempt to induce city officials to install traffic signals at an intersection, a group of North Hollywood women and children formed a traffic-blocking picket line at Lankershim Blvd. and Vineland Avenue on June 27, 1946. The pickets carried home-made placards bearing messages such as "Think as You Drive."
