Segments include surplus cheese program run by Concilio de la Raza; Juan Espinoza editorial on flurry of media activity looking for stories on gangs; plans to address Hayward school district's $2m deficit with possible school closures; dance duo "Clockwork Orange" perform in studio; Juan Espinoza editorial on resignations surrounding Fuller community center efforts, and his victory in court against La Familia Counseling Service; studio interview with filmmaker Rick Tejada-Flores, including discussion about the short film Children of Violence. Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
