Description
Connie and Madhur begin the interview discussing a new method for preparing sweet potatoes, how Madhur’s book is not meant for vegetarians, and how she herself is not a vegetarian. They proceed to talk about legumes and how they should be further used in American cuisine before moving on to discuss several other foods and recipes in the book. Connie and Madhur then reflect on Madhur’s career and the quantity of films she has completed, and her experiences when filming, before discussing forbidden black rice, how she prepares foods for her grandson, and the number of places Madhur has travelled to. Madhur then discusses what she grows herself and the length of time it took to write the book. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
