Description
Photograph article dated October 22, 1963 partially reads, "Members of St. Cyril's Women's Club are planning a 'shipload of fun' Oct. 27 aboard the S. S. Princess. Buses will leave the church parking lot, 4601 Firmament Ave., Encino, at 5 p.m. The ship will be the dock at 6 p.m. and cruise around the Los Angeles and Long Beach harbors. A buffet dinner will be catered by Ports O'Call Restaurant. The S. S. Princess, a Mississippi showboat, is the only authentic Gay 90's paddlewheeler in Southern California waters." Pictured are Mmes. Robert Olds, left; Theodore Azar Jr., S. J. Patronete and Charles Hofflund, all of Encino.
