Here they come, boys and girls of the Hoover Street School happily beginning the shortest three months of the year--summer vacation. "No more pencils, no more books," they chanted, at least until fall, for now it's vacation time and 11,000 teachers joined in their happiness. Photo dated: June 28, 1940.
