Description
Caption from August 2, 1983 Sacramento Bee reads, "Art To Look Up To: A section of a contemporary sculpture by George Rickey was lifted into place Monday at the new Corporate Center building in downtown Sacramento. The 38-foot kinetic sculpture is canted and balanced for wind resistance. Rickey's works, combining an art background with training in engineering and ballistics, are on display in New York's Central Park and other international sites. The 5th and J corner of the Corporate Center also includes a fanciful horse by Deborah Butterfield, a Montana artist." Note: caption on back is placed with another picture of the artwork
