Description
An ambulance loaded with injured from the explosion that blew up the O'Connor Elctro-Plating Corp.'s plant, is shown preparing to leave for the hospital. Following the blast, a state of emergency was declared by the Police Department. All doctors of Georgia Street Receiving Hospital were called back to duty. Photo dated: February 20, 1947.
