Annotation translation: "British India, Kalikut." Annotation: "Brit. Indien. Kalikut." Identity of photographer questionable. Note: "... (Grasdach). L.[ehrer] mit Juppe Söhnlein Miss. Renz L.[ehrer] ohne Juppe." (C-30-0,2). Verwendung des Wortes "Juppe" im Sinne von "Joppe", also "Jacke". (BFN 12.1998). - Ch. Renz ist vermutlich nur Bildlieferant. (C-30-0,2). Note translation: "... (thatched roof). Teacher with jacket, small son, Rev. Renz, teacher without jacket." (C-30-0,2). - The antiquated German word "Juppe" has been used for "jacket". (BFN 12.1998). - Probably handed over to the collection by Ch. Renz. (C-30-0,2).
