Description
The Marion Chilcott was built at Port Glasgow in 1882, is 256 feet long, has a 38 feet beam and is 22 feet deep. This oil barque is arriving from Honolulu, the crew are patrons of the Gaviota Branch Public Library and are returning books from their 40 day cruise, circa 1910. Edson Smith Photo Collection no. 676
