Description
565 Throckmorton Avenue known as "Burlwood". This home was named for the redwood burl paneling of its interior. It ws built in 1891 in the English Tudor style with two gabled wings projecting forward from a broad half-timber façade. The stained glass and leaded windows add to its English appearance. It was the first Mill Valley residence to install electricity.
