Description
Photograph of the Roosevelt High School Reserve Officer Training Corps, June 1, 1927. The young men march in rows of four people over the trimmed grass of the school yard at center. They each where long-sleeved shirts, pants, tight boots, hats and rifles over their right shoulders. An officer guides them on the left with a band directly behind him. Two boys present American flags in the rear of the line. The large school stands several stories high behind them with hundreds of small windows and a thin, cylindrical tower on the far left.
