Photograph caption dated December 11, 1957 reads, "Bill Edmundson, bowling chairman for muscular dystrophy, seated left, congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lokkins of Granada Hills, center, for their participation in the annual Muscular Dystrophy Bowlerama. Gail Robbins, left, Bowling Queen, and Ingrid Goude, Miss Sweden, aided in presentations to 22 Valley bowlers. Event took place at new Citrus Bowl in Dennis Park shopping center and was attended by many civic leaders. Campaign brought nearly $4,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy treasury when 13 Valley alleys too [sic] part."
