Photograph of a view of Table Mountain, near Jacksonville, ca.1930. An automobile is parked on the side of a paved road which is lined by wooden posts. On either side of the road there are grass fields, but further down where another car drives away, the road is surrounded by trees. This same road leads to Table Mountain and it's characteristically flat top in the distance. The mountain side is sparsely decorated by trees. Picture file card reads "Table Mountain, near Jacksonville -- the scene of several of Bret Harte's stories. It is a conspicuous landmark in that region".
