Description: The theater is now the site of the Palms Station Post Office.
Photograph caption dated June 9, 1985 reads, "'When they had 'The Godfather' in the early '70s, the ushers dressed as gangsters and pointed toy plastic machine guns to keep people in line.'" Show is Don Nakagiri, the former manager of the Palms Theatre, background, located at 3751 Motor Avenue. The marquee identifies that "Police Academy 2" and the "Breakfast Club" are being shown at the theater.
