Photograph caption dated November 15, 1957 reads "Birmingham High's pesky Braves go into battle tonight against Van Nuys in a Valley League grid tussle as sharp as they have been all season. Upper photo shows Guard Danny Enrico blocking on teammate as halfback Rich Canaday lugs the pigskin. Below, John 'The Sheriff of' Nottingham [pictured] hauls in pass during practice. Game at Van Nuys this evening is one of three loop contests."
