Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Edward G. Robinson, Jr. was born on March 19, 1933 in Los Angeles. He was the son of legendary actor Edward G. Robinson and actress Gladys Lloyd. He was an actor, appearing in a few films and on television series. Robinson, Jr. lead a troubled life and was known for being a playboy. He started drinking as a teenager and got into trouble with the law numerous times after becoming an adult. He eloped at the age of 19, had a daughter, and was divorced a few years later. He was arrested multiple times for charges including check fraud, drunken driving, and assault and robbery. He married twice more and died of a heart attack on February 26, 1974. Photograph caption dated June 6, 1957 reads "Leaves county jail for honor farm." Wearing a prison outfit with the words "L.A. Co. Jail" on the shirt, Robinson is escorted by a sheriff's deputy. He was given sixty days in jail after a misdemeanor drunk driving conviction and car crash. The passenger in the car he was driving lost sight in one eye as a result of the accident.
