Description
Muntz Plumbing Shop (Later Varney Bros. Hardware) at 57 Throckmorton Avenue. Walter Muntz and C. Russell Symes are at rear of store on October 5, 1914. Handwritten in back of photo: "First location of Defferbach Stables then a garage. Tony and John Varney stored their wood and coal here when their Hardware and Plumbing shop was located around the corner at Redhill Liquor. Coal was brought in by train and put in 100 lb. sacks to be delivered. Varney's Hardware relocated here in 1939".
