Photograph article dated February 5, 1962 partially reads, "A Los Angeles City Council resolution commending the Valley Times TODAY for incisive governmental affairs reporting will 'encourage us to do more, and do it better,' according to the newspaper's publisher. Robert N. Weed told the council the resolution was 'deeply appreciated... by myself and my co-workers.'"
