Description
Claremont's first two story commercial building built by the Claremont Improvement Company in 1901 on the northwest corner of First Street and Yale Avenue. A well with "DRY" painted on it is in the foreground. From 1908 - 1912 this building was home to Citizens State Bank, later it became the First National Bank of Claremont.
