Photo--black and white: Sugar Loaf Logging Show July 27, 1914 at Sturgeon's Mill, Coleman Valley, Occidental. Shown standing in front of a huge log are (L-R) Neil Ihm, Red MacIntyre, Wade Sturgeon. Sturgeon had bought in 1913 the sawmill machinery from Boss Meeker and built the sawmill by 1914 in Coleman Valley.
