Description
Photograph of a panoramic view of residences in Signal Hill, Long Beach showing oil derricks in the distance, ca.1925. One- to two-story houses, most of which are flat-roofed, stand on either side of a street which appears to be unpaved. Early automobiles can be seen to the right on the intersecting street, and parked in the foreground to the left. In the distance, oil derricks can be seen blanketing the hills.
