Description: "Morondavaasylets begyndelse" ("The early beginning of Morondava Girls' School"). Postcard. Ellen Sofie, maiden name Olsen (Sauren). She married Elling Andreas Bertelsen in Natal on August 8, 1882. He died in Morondava on June 17, 1882. After his death she married Reinert Larsen Aas on October 25, 1886 in Tulear. She died in Stavanger, Norway on December 26, 1934.
