Photograph article dated September 7, 1962 partially reads, "This book written by a 10-year-old about the year 1900 is very humorous. I wonder if she meant to be funny. She writes in her own funny way definitions of various things in her life. An example of her sense of humor is in the chapter 'Gardening': 'My mother told me if I didn't quit coming home from church and playing the hymns in ragtime on our piano she didn't know what on earth she would do so now I rag them up on Mrs. Harris' piano.'... Diane Reiner, age 10, is a fifth grader at Irvine Ave. Elementary School in North Hollywood who reviewed O Ye Jigs & Julips! at the request of the Valley Times TODAY."
