Description
Shown is Redwood Home Plans by California Architects, produced in 1927. The California Redwood Association pushed the use of redwood timber for housing construction due to its high quality. Redwood was considered resistant to termites, fire-retardant, generally impervious to warping. Redwoods could also be used in virtually any building construction, including floors ceilings, roof rafters and more.
