Description
Photograph of an Anniversary parade on Figueroa Street, 1931. A float in the form of a mountain rides along the street to the right of center. A metallic bear statue stands at the summit while men dressed as pioneers and a man dressed as a Indian stand around the float. Four lightly colored horses pull the float while large crowds of spectators watch on both sides of the paved street. A airplane shaped car rides behind the first float while cars can be seen driving behind. A small building can be seen behind the crowds to the right of center. The building is addressed "3328" and plastered in signs that read "Used Cars Roe Finance Co.", "Cars at Wholesale Prices" and "Used Cars Wanted We Pay Cash". A lot of cars can be seen to the right of the building while a large, darkly colored house is visible in the right background.
