Description
A group of men and women, several holding rackets, stand on a tennis court on the property of William F. Channing and family in Pasadena, California. In the upper left is a two-story residence, to the right, people sit on bleachers under a canopy. Tennis players include Charles Saunders, Harold Channing, and Grace Ellery Channing.
Title and date transcribed from back of photo-mount. Also written on back: "Frontage Chas W. Saunders left -- Harold Channing rear, with raised racquet. G.E. Channing in front of her -- May 24, 1888."
