Description
In a letter to John Moody, Garrick describes a letter to a Mr. Swan and references the doings of theatre performers James William Dodd and Mary Bulkley in Dublin. Garrick also mentions his preparations for a Jubilee. He tells Moody: "If you see any thing delightful in yr. travels pray give me notice of it." In a postscript, Garrick informs Moody that he is "quite recover'd." While letter gives a date of "8th 1774," notes with letter give a tentative month of September. Letter contains a watermark. Image four scan has been rotated 180 degrees.
