Description
This circa 1968 postcard provides a view from the California State Capitol building's dome, looking west. In the immediate foreground, and completed in 1928, are buildings of the Capitol Extension, to the right the Library and Courts Building, to the left State of California Office Building Number One. Beyond them and to the left is the 1960s-era California State Employment Building while, to the right, is the Sutter Club, built in 1928/29. In the distance is the Tower Bridge and easternmost environs of West Sacramento and Yolo County.
