Photograph caption dated August 14, 1957 reads, "Officer Don Musselwhite checks registration in automobile at Oxnard street near Woodman avenue after car ran into Southern Pacific diesel engine at crossing. Victim, who was taken to Valley Receiving Hospital, later said that her brakes failed to work." See image 00154744 for additional photo in this series.
