Photo taken of Downey Avenue in 1886. Not many people were in town to have their picture taken at this time. They were probably in the fields, farming 275-pound pumpkins, 12-foot corn, and two crops a year of potatoes and 10 crops of alfalfa. Bumper crops, indeed.
